As an avid landscape photographer from Cork, I thrive on immersing myself in the beauty and ruggedness of nature. My travels often lead me to cozy escapes that promise comfort and warmth after a long day of exploration—the essentials for a perfect stay, including free Wi-Fi, a welcoming atmosphere, and delightful dining options. Upon arrival at our chosen retreat, I was initially taken aback as the exterior didn’t hint at the charm within. Our large, comfortable room ticked all the boxes I seek. After a refreshing swim, we enjoyed excellent wine on the terrace, soaking in the peaceful ambiance. The dinner was another highlight, truly enjoyable. Though we didn’t indulge in the spa treatments offered, the attentive staff ensured we felt well cared for throughout our visit.
